PARKING INFORMATION:
Glendale Community College - Verdugo Campus
Visit: map.glendale.edu for an interactive map of the campus. Select PARKING on the left side pane of the webpage to highlight the parking areas. The available parking lots are listed below.
PLEASE NOTE: Parking permits are now required for all visitors. Faculty/Students may use their current GCC parking permits, for all other visitors you may obtain an event specific parking permit for free here: PATRON PARKING PERMIT. Please print and display on your dashboard after parking in one of our lots.
FREE PARKING ON CAMPUS
- Lot I (Auditorium parking lot): These spots are on a first come first serve basis. If there is no parking available in these lots please utilize the alternative options of Lot B, C, or H (Handicapped parking ONLY).
- CIRCLE DRIVE: These spots are on a first come first serve basis. If there is no parking available in these lots please utilize the alternative options of Lot B, C, or H (Handicapped parking ONLY).
- Lot B (Student/Visitor): Located behind the main parking structure (Lot C). Off Mountain Rd., on the east side of Verdugo Campus. You may also access lot B from Campus Way, Northbound, off Verdugo Rd.
- Lot C (Parking Structure): Levels 3-6 only of the main parking structure. Off Mountain Rd., on the east side of Verdugo Campus. Entrance to Level 3 (student/visitor) is on the south side of structure. (Please Note* this is further away from the Auditorium than LOT 32.) You may also access the main parking structure from Campus Way, Northbound, off Verdugo Rd. As part of Lot B there is also a parking lot surrounding the main parking structure that is also accessible for patrons.
- Currently free of charge.
- Parking Permit required
- Handicapped parking available in Lot A (ADA parking), Lot C (parking structure), and Lot H (ADA and motorcycles) for patrons with a valid DMV-issued placard. A handicapped drop-off area is located in front of the Auditorium building.
- Lot A: ADA Parking
- Four ADA parking spaces are available on the south side of the Sierra Vista Building on Lot A.
- Lot C: Parking Structure
- 28 ADA parking spaces are available on Level 1 and Level 2 of the main parking structure on the Verdugo Campus. Entrances to Level 1 and Level 2 are located on the south side of the structure.
- Lot H: ADA and motorcycles
- Lot H features up to six disabled parking spaces and several slots for motorcycles. Access via the Circle Drive entrance off N. Verdugo Road just past Sartoris Field.

- Lot A: ADA Parking
FREE and METERED OFF-CAMPUS PARKING
- Lot 32: Verdugo Road @ Canada Blvd., across the footbridge
- Spaces: 172 + 34 motorcycle spaces (no handicapped spaces)
- Limit: 4 hours
- Meters in effect: Mon-Thurs, 7am-10pm
- FREE from 5pm Friday- 6am Monday
- Student permits valid throughout the day.
- Lot 30: Verdugo Road south of Mountain St.
- Spaces: 320 + 4 handicapped spaces.
- Limit: 10 hours.
- Meters in effect: Mon-Sun, 7am-10pm.
- Student permits valid throughout the day.
- Lot 33: in Verdugo Park
- Spaces: 163 + 2 handicapped spaces.
- Limit: 4 hours.
- Meters in effect: Mon-Fri, 7am-2pm.
- No permits required after 2pm or at all on Saturday/Sunday.
- Lot 34: Canada Blvd. @ Babe Herman Park
- Spaces: 214 + 1 handicapped space.
- Limit: 4 hours.
- Meters in effect: Mon-Fri, 7am-10pm.
- No permits required on Saturday/Sunday.
PASSENGER DROP-OFF AREAS
- The drop-off area on N. Verdugo Road in front of the College's Administrative Building is now open.
- Lot B parking lot on the Upper Campus near the 2 Freeway. Enter via College Parkway off E. Mountain Street, continue into the uncovered parking area Lot B next to the Parking Structure. For safety, have the driver pull into a parking space before exiting the vehicle.
DISABLED DROP-OFF ZONE
The new drop off zone for disabled persons is temporarily in Lot A, by the tennis courts. There is an access drop off area and disabled spaces for persons with disabled placards to use.
Follow painted arrows when entering or exiting the drop-off zone. There is a second disabled drop-off zone in Lot C, Level One. THESE ZONES ARE FOR THE IMMEDIATE LOADING AND/OR LOADING UNLOADING OF DISABLED PASSENGERS ONLY.
